James Ed Lewis Apps · Last updated: May 2025
This Privacy Policy covers all iOS applications developed and published by James Ed Lewis ("we", "us", "our") — including ThinkFast and Where's My Bus?
Both apps are designed with privacy as a priority. Neither app requires an account, neither collects personal data, and neither contains advertising.
⚡ Short version: Our apps do not collect, store, or share your personal data. What happens on your device stays on your device.
None of our apps collect the following:
None of our apps contain third-party analytics SDKs (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.) or advertising networks.
Local storage: ThinkFast stores which quiz questions and word search words you've seen on your device only, to power the no-repeat system. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
AI Computer Player (Garble): If you choose to add the optional AI computer player, a short anonymised prompt is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a story contribution. The prompt contains no personal information — only a description of the game step. This feature is entirely optional. You can review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Location: The app requests "When In Use" location permission to show nearby bus stops and stations on the map. Your location is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted to us. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
TfL API: Live arrival times are fetched from the TfL Unified API. When the app requests arrivals for a stop, your device sends that stop's identifier to TfL's servers. This is governed by TfL's own privacy policy. Where's My Bus? is not affiliated with Transport for London.
Favourites: Stops you star are saved locally using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults) and are never uploaded anywhere.
All our apps are distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect data as part of the distribution process under their own privacy policy at apple.com/uk/legal/privacy.
ThinkFast optionally connects to Anthropic's Claude API (AI player only). Where's My Bus? connects to the TfL Unified API. No other external services are used in either app.
Our apps do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Because no personal data is collected, both apps are suitable for all ages.
Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our apps after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
